This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from Glenglassaugh, on the Aberdeenshire coast. It was bottled by Rare Find (Gleann Mòr Spirits) from cask 11062, which yielded 234 bottles.
After maturation it spent 19 months finishing in a first-fill Foursquare rum barrel. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.6%, in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The nose offers wild honey, caramel, peaches, zesty citrus and underripe banana. The palate brings toffee, lemon-drizzled apricots, golden tobacco and cinnamon stick, and the finish is dusty cinnamon and toasted oak fading into stone fruit.
