Glenglassaugh 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt made at the distillery in Portsoy, Aberdeenshire, and bottled at 45%. The distillery was founded in 1875 and revived in 2008.
The whisky is matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and red wine casks, and has a golden colour.
The nose brings apricot, fig, tropical florals and toasted vanilla. On the palate there are candied pistachio, dates, fig and morello cherry with a creamy texture. The finish is long, sweet and lightly salty, with a maritime note.
