Glenglassaugh 12 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenglassaugh distillery, founded in 1875 by Colonel James Moir on the coast where Speyside meets the Highlands.
It is matured for at least 12 years in a selection of three cask types: ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and ex-red wine.
The nose offers apricot, fig and raisin, followed by marine hints and vanilla. The palate is soft and fruity, with custard, salted caramel and toasted hazelnut. The finish is of medium length, with dark chocolate and vanilla.
