A Glenglassaugh single malt distilled in November 1977 and bottled by Wm. Cadenhead in 1991, after 13 years of maturation. It comes in a 75cl bottle at a cask strength-style 60.7% ABV.
The nose offers citrus zest, ripe plums and dried apricots, with cloves, mint and sandalwood. On the palate, honeyed vanilla and toffee lead into green apple and gentle ginger, with a silky texture. The finish is medium to long, with nutty oak and spiced apple pie.
