Glenglassaugh – Sandend (70cl)

Glenglassaugh Sandend is a single malt without an age statement, named after the bay off the distillery's shore. Glenglassaugh stands on high ground on the north coast of Scotland, overlooking the North Sea, and its whisky is often described as a coastal Highland malt. The distillery was founded in 1875 and spent long periods closed before Brown-Forman acquired it in 2016. This expression comes in a 70cl bottle. Citrus and minerality lead on the nose. The palate brings peach, apricot, honey, pound cake and vanilla with a touch of sea salt, and the finish is long and spiced.
