Glenglassaugh Sandend is a no-age-statement Highland single malt, bottled at 50.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It takes its name from Sandend Bay, the crescent beach beside the distillery on Scotland's northeast coast. The whisky is unpeated and matured in ex-bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks.
The nose is soft vanilla ice cream with mango and pineapple, chocolate and a touch of sea salt. On the palate come salted caramel, pineapple, cherry and grapefruit. The finish is long and warming, with juicy berries.
