Sandend is a single malt Scotch from Glenglassaugh, a distillery on the Moray Firth coast at the edge of Sandend Bay, overlooking the North Sea. Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875 and was mothballed for over 20 years before production restarted in 2008. Brown-Forman took over the distillery in 2017 and appointed Rachel Barrie as Master Blender. She re-created the core releases, and Sandend was revealed in 2023 as part of that range.
