Glenglassaugh Sandend is a Highland single malt bottled at 50.5% ABV. It takes its name from Sandend Bay, beside the distillery on the coast.
The whisky is matured in a mix of bourbon, sherry and manzanilla casks.
The nose is rich and sweet, with buttery vanilla, tropical fruit, chocolate and a hint of sea salt. On the palate come salted caramel, pineapple, cherry and grapefruit, and the finish is long, warm and gently salty.
