Glengoyne 10 Years is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky at 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery's name is often given as 'Glen Guin', meaning glen of the wild geese. Its barley is dried with warm air instead of peat, so the whisky carries no peat smoke. Slow distillation and a careful choice of European and American oak casks shape the spirit. It is described as having green apples, toffee, hints of popcorn and nuts, and a touch of liquorice and wood. A drop of water brings out linseed oil and almonds.
