Glengoyne – 10 Years Old (70cl, 40%)

Glengoyne 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a distillery that has been making whisky for nearly 200 years, using air-dried barley, slow distillation and natural colour. The whisky is matured in a mix of casks: 15% first-fill European oak sherry, 15% first-fill American oak sherry and 70% refill oak. The nose is apple, vanilla and toffee. On the palate there is a clear malt character with white pepper and butterscotch. The finish is lightly dry from the cask, with hints of gentle spice and green apple.
