This is an 11-year-old Glengoyne from the Highlands, bottled by Murray McDavid as part of its Benchmark series. It was distilled in 2014, matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled in 2026 at 56.6%, in an outturn of 850 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered, has no added colour and is not smoky.
The nose brings sweet pastry, lemon peel and ripe banana. On the palate a creamy texture and tropical mango meet spicy malt. Toffee and fine vanilla accompany the long finish.
