This is Glengoyne 12 Year Old, a Scottish whisky matured for twelve years in selected oak casks and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from unpeated malts, which leaves its sweeter side in the foreground.
The nose is usually described as vanilla and green apple with a little almond and cinnamon. On the palate, honey sweetness and malty fruit are joined by light clove and nutmeg, leading to a long, pleasantly warm finish.
