Glengoyne 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured in bourbon and sherry casks, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery dries its barley with warm air rather than peat smoke, so the whisky carries no peat. The name is usually given as glen of the wild geese.
The nose offers coconut, lemon peel, honey and oak, followed on the palate by toffee, apples, ginger and orange. The finish is balanced, with a touch of sherry and oak.
