Glengoyne – 12 Years Old (70cl, 43%)

Glengoyne 12 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a distillery that has been making whisky for nearly 200 years, using air-dried barley, slow distillation and natural colour. The whisky is matured in 20% first-fill European oak sherry casks, 20% first-fill American oak sherry casks and 60% refill oak casks. The nose is fruity and malty-sweet, with apricot, vanilla and light spice. The palate brings toffee, ginger, malt and cask notes. The finish has a light malt sweetness and brown biscuits, with a twist of dryness and toffee at the end.
