This Glengoyne 16 Year Old is an independent bottling from Fruitful Spirits, strength 49.9%, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in May 2010 and bottled in August 2026, with a finish in a first-fill Lágrima Rosé Port barrique.
The cask adds orchard fruit and strawberries to Glengoyne's smooth, toffee-like character. Just 230 bottles were filled straight from the cask, with no added colouring and no chill-filtration.
The nose offers red berries, baked apple, pear, light floral notes and gentle malt. The palate is clean and fruit-led, with strawberry, apricot, toffee apple and soft spice. The finish is of medium length, with red fruit, almond and light oak.
