Glengoyne – 17 Year Old Scottish Oak

Glengoyne 17 Year Old Scottish Oak is a Highland single malt from the distillery's Oak Masters series, released as a limited edition. It was finished in casks made from native Scottish oak, a wood described as rare and difficult to use in whisky-making. Glengoyne distils slowly and without peat, and matures mainly in sherry casks. The Scottish oak finish adds spice, dried fruit and a resinous, herbal note to the sweet, sherried character and gentle honeyed fruit of the house style.
