Glengoyne – 21 Year Old Sherry Cask (70cl, 43%)

This is a 21 year old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, matured entirely in sherry casks, mostly first-fill European oak. The distillery's particularly slow distillation keeps the fruity character of the spirit, while the long maturation gives a pronounced sherry style. It was bottled in September 2025 at 43%, without chill-filtration and without added colour, in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers red apples, spiced strudel, toffee, sherry and dried fruit. On the palate strong sherry notes meet honey and oak, followed by fine cinnamon spice. The finish is long, warm, spicy and dry.
