Glengoyne 28 Year Old Spirit Safe is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky at 50.4% ABV. This limited edition has an approximate outturn of 1,500 bottles and comes enclosed in a replica brass spirit safe with a working padlock and keys.
Apricot, dried fig and blackberry lead into chocolate, raisins and caramel, with a smooth, oily texture. The long, silky finish brings spiced plum, marzipan and warmth; water draws out cream toffee and a lasting sweetness.
Tasting Notes
Ripe apricot, dried fig, blackberry, cinnamon, clove and toasted oak; grassy notes develop towards chocolate and dry malt with water.
Dark chocolate, raisins, caramel, nutmeg and orange peel; smooth and oily, with sherry and cream toffee.
Long, silky and warming, with spiced plum and marzipan; sweeter with water.
