This is a 36-year-old single cask Glengoyne, bottled at 50.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a sherry cask selected by the Russell family, current owners of Glengoyne, Tamdhu and Rosebank.
Sherry maturation is said to suit the Glengoyne spirit well, and complexity builds with time. The character is described as old-school, with dried fruits, mahogany, roasted nuts and leather.
