Glengoyne The Legacy Series Chapter 3 is the third release in the distillery's Legacy Series. It honours Sir Arthur John Tedder, the Glengoyne exciseman who helped shape whisky as it is known today. The whisky is bottled from American oak sherry casks and is deep gold in colour.
The nose combines deep sherry with cinnamon sticks and vanilla, alongside mixed berry jam, apple strudel and a touch of pear. The palate is rich and chewy, with warm boozy raisins and spiced buns giving way to tarte tatin and smooth cream sherry.
