Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 4 is the fourth batch of heavily peated single malt from the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown. Released in 2021, it was made from ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and bottled at 58.6%.
Citrus, vanilla cheesecake, rhubarb and creamy sweets sit alongside gentle peat smoke on the nose. The palate offers freshly baked Bramley apple pie and sweet salted caramel, with well-integrated peat and a fresh coastal note. The finish is long and creamy, with toasted oak and pencil shavings giving way to sweet, fruity peat smoke.
