Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 375ml bottle.
It is made from malted barley distilled in the distillery's lantern-shaped copper pot stills and matured in a combination of European and American oak casks.
The nose is bright with banana, pineapple and summer-meadow florals, over vanilla and toffee. The palate brings ripe peach and pear, creamy vanilla, hazelnut and marzipan in a smooth, buttery texture. The finish is gentle and long, with marzipan and soft vanilla fading to a clean, lightly nutty close.
