A 14 year old Glenlivet bottled by Signatory in its Cask Strength Collection, at 61.7% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled on 17 October 2006 and bottled on 12 March 2021, after maturing in a first fill sherry butt. The outturn was 646 bottles.
Raisins, caramel and delicate floral notes lead on the nose. The palate is very robust, spicy and sweet with a light peppery edge, while raisins and oranges add fruit. The finish is long, fruity and spicy, with pepper and raisins.
