This is Glenlivet 18 Year Old from the Hand Filled series, Batch No.1, a Speyside single malt bottled in 2021 at cask strength. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 56.4% ABV and is a limited edition.
The nose is juicy orange, ripe pear and dried apricot, with nutmeg, a whisper of mint and toasted oak. The palate brings zesty orange, tropical mango, honeyed almonds, cinnamon and toasted coconut in a creamy texture. The finish is warming and persistent, with spiced raisin and charred vanilla.
