This is a 31 year old Speyside single malt from Glenlivet, distilled in 1994 and matured in a single refill American hogshead. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it on 24 April 2025 for the Connoisseurs Choice range, filling 126 bottles at a natural 41.9%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose opens with bright citrus, then pears in syrup and delicate blossom. On the palate, rich honey meets red apple and a bittersweet orange zest, with vanilla and a hint of lavender. The long finish brings toasted oak and a range of nuts, ending dry.
