This is a 14 year old Glenlivet from Speyside, bottled by Signatory Vintage for its Cask Strength Collection at 64.1% ABV. It was distilled on 10 April 2007 and matured in a first fill sherry cask, number 900282.
The nose is rich in tropical fruit such as mango and pineapple, with cake, orange peel, apricot, honey, toffee and a touch of sweet spice.
The palate is creamy and oily, with tropical fruit, caramel, oranges and cinnamon. The finish runs medium to long, with caramel, oak, white pepper and apricots and peaches in syrup.
