Glenlivet Captain's Reserve is an unpeated Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and European oak ex-sherry casks, then finished in French ex-Cognac casks, which give it distinct notes of fruit and raisin.
The nose is sweet, with vanilla, honey, cinnamon, liquorice root and fresh bread. The palate opens with citrus peel, pear, sultanas and yeast, and the finish is soft and smooth, with vanilla, honey and citrus.
