A Speyside single malt from Glenlivet, bottled at 40% ABV and matured in a selection of American oak casks.
Glenlivet was founded by George Smith in 1824. The American oak adds vanilla, caramel and a gentle sweetness to a spirit that stays light and fruity.
The nose is led by sweet orange and ripe pear, with cinnamon and dried fruit. On the palate there are juicy cherries and lively citrus, with chocolate-coated raisins and brown sugar adding a creamy sweetness and a little spice for depth.
