Glenlochy – 1979-2023 43 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection Single Cask 3309 (70cl, 53.6%)

This is a single cask Glenlochy distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2023 at 43 years old, released by Gordon & MacPhail in its Private Collection series. It formed part of the 2023 Recollection Series #2, an annual release devoted to lost distilleries. The whisky matured in a single refill American hogshead, Cask 3309, which gave 141 bottles at a natural cask strength of 53.6%. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. Glenlochy was among the distilleries closed in the DCL cull of 1983.
