Glenlossie – 13 Year Old 2011/2024 Cask 1290 Glens & Valleys (Berry Bros & Rudd) (70cl, 56.2%)

This Glenlossie was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2024 at 13 years old, in the Glens & Valleys series from Berry Bros & Rudd. It comes from cask 1290 and is bottled at 56.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The nose opens with dark chocolate and caramel, moving to ripe orchard fruit under a light honey glaze, with a touch of vanilla, floral freshness and gentle spice. The palate shows grain and malt carried by peppery oak. The finish turns to soft tannins and aniseed, leaving a lasting peppery note.
