This is a single cask Glenlossie from Speyside, distilled in 1975 and matured for 44 years. Hunter Laing bottled it for their Old & Rare Heritage range at 43.3%, in a 70cl bottle. It is a deep gold whisky with a fruity character, tropical and ripe orchard fruit running from the nose into the palate before a hint of nuttiness arrives in the finish. The nose offers banana, peach, orange sherbet and green herbs. The palate is full and spicy, with sweet oak, ripe fruit and herbal notes. The finish is long, fruity and faintly nutty.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
