This is a 2010 Glenlossie single malt from Speyside, bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd at 52.2% abv. The distillery was founded in 1876 by John Duff.
The whisky was matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon cask, and the strong influence of the wood defines its character.
The nose offers spiced crème brûlée, fresh apples, lime zest, vanilla pods and cloves. On the palate come waves of fresh shortbread, spiced oak, fresh fruit and a touch of new leather. Cinnamon and cloves echo through the finish.
