Glenmorangie – 12 Year Calvados Cask Finish

Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Calvados Cask Finish is a Highland single malt from the distillery known for the tallest pot stills in Scotland. It is 12-year-old Glenmorangie given a second maturation in casks that previously held Calvados, the apple brandy of Normandy. Those casks carry apple-derived character from the eaux-de-vie into the spirit. Glenmorangie has been finishing Scotch in wine and spirit casks since the 1990s, and this bottling applies a French Norman tradition to its delicate spirit. The finish is described as adding apple, pear and French brandy character to the distillery's floral, honeyed base.
