Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or is a 12 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl size. It spends ten years in American oak ex-bourbon casks, followed by two more years in casks that previously held Sauternes, the sweet French wine.
The nose has honey, candied fruit and sweet spice, with a hint of lemon and coconut. The palate is sweet with honey and vanilla, apricot, nutmeg and butterscotch. The finish is long and soft, with sweet, fruity spice.
