Glenmorangie 12 Years Old Calvados Cask Finish is a Highland single malt from the Barrel Select series, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Dr Bill Lumsden, Director of Whisky Creation, took whisky that had already spent more than 10 years in American white oak bourbon casks and finished it in casks that had held Calvados du Pays d'Auge from Normandy for 20 years. It is bottled in natural colour and without chill-filtration.
Aromas of baked apples and pears are joined by a hint of jasmine, daffodil and vanilla.
