Glenmorangie 12 Years The Original is a Highland single malt from the North Highlands, aged for 12 years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
Glenmorangie was founded in 1843 by William Matheson, who converted a former brewery into the distillery.
The nose shows yellow-fleshed fruit and marzipan, followed by caramel, dried fruit and spice. The palate is delicate, soft and fruity, with spice, almond and vanilla.
