Glenmorangie – 15 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Glenmorangie (Highland). Aged 15 years, bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. Finished in new Charred Oak. Glenmorangie was established in 1843 in Tain, Ross-shire, in the Scottish Highlands, and is home to some of the tallest pot stills in Scotland. The distillery has long been associated with careful wood management and a pioneering approach to cask maturation. This expression, labelled as a Single Highland Rare Malt Scotch Whisky, was matured for 15 years in American White Oak casks previously seasoned with bourbon, sourced from the Ozark Mountains in Missouri, before being transferred for an additional period of finishing in air-dried, freshly charred new oak casks. Bottled in Scotland at 43% ABV, it is presented with the distillery's 'Handcrafted by the Sixteen Men of Tain' designation.
