Glenmorangie – 18 Year Old Azuma Makoto Limited Edition (75cl)

This is a limited edition Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Highland single malt, created as a collaboration with the Japanese botanical artist Azuma Makoto, who designed its floral artwork. It comes in a 750ml bottle. The whisky spent fourteen years in American oak bourbon casks, after which a portion was moved to Oloroso sherry casks for a further four years. The nose is honey, dried fruit, floral notes and toasted oak. The palate shows rich caramel, orange peel, nutmeg and gentle spice, and the finish is long and elegant, with soft sweetness and sherry warmth.
