The whisky was put together from several parts. Whisky aged wholly in bourbon casks hints at Glenmorangie's citrus character, while whisky finished for many years in oloroso sherry casks adds sweetness and spicy finesse. A selection of undisclosed casks also played a part.
It is described as full of candied sweetness and crimson cherries.
