Glenmorangie 25 Year Old is a Highland single malt aged for twenty-five years, in a 750ml bottle. It is matured mainly in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then spends its final years in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose shows dried apricot, toffee, orange peel, polished oak and subtle spice. The palate is silky and full, with honeyed malt, dried fruit, dark chocolate, cinnamon and gentle sherry richness. The finish is long and warming, with oak spice, cocoa and soft sweetness.
