Glenmorangie – A Tale of Ice Cream Limited Edition (70cl, 46%)

Glenmorangie A Tale of Ice Cream is a Highland single malt released in 2024 as part of the distillery's A Tale Of... limited edition series. It was created by Dr Bill Lumsden, Director of Whisky Creation, with Master Blender Gillian Macdonald, and is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered. Small batches of single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks are married with whisky finished in high vanillin casks, made from specially toasted virgin oak. It is the first time the distillery has used them. It is described as creamy and dessert-like. The nose brings Manuka honey, lemon butter candy, baked raisin bread, candied orange peel and peach, while peach melba, vanilla, lemon sorbet, coconut flakes, toffee and brioche are also noted.
