Glenmorangie – A Tale of Tokyo (46%)

A limited Glenmorangie bottled at 46%, inspired by Dr Bill's many visits to Tokyo and the food and memories he brought back from them. It is the first time he worked with Japanese Mizunara oak casks. The nose combines pepper, bitter cherry and coconut with orange zest, oriental incense and sweet oak. The finish brings the house flavours of tangerine, almond and marzipan. The bottle and its packaging carry an illustration by the Japanese artist Yamaguchi Akira, showing Tokyo landmarks alongside Glenmorangie's tall stills and Mizunara oaks.
