Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo is a limited edition Highlands single malt in a 70cl bottle, presented in 2023 by the distillery and its head of whisky creation, Doctor Bill Lumsden.
The link to Japan is Mizunara oak. Part of the blend was matured in casks of this Asian oak, alongside the usual ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The Mizunara adds aromatic complexity, with notes of incense and sandalwood in a whisky described as fine and elegant.
