Glenmorangie A Tale of Winter is a limited edition 13 year old single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. Dr Bill, Glenmorangie's Director of Whisky Creation, conceived it while snowed in at home, hoping to capture the feeling of sitting by a fire as snow falls outside.
The whisky was finished in Marsala wine casks from Sicily.
The nose offers light fruit and honey. The palate moves to cocoa dust, red pepper and brazil nut toffee, and the very long finish brings cinnamon, ginger and clove.
