A Tale Of Winter is a 13-year-old single malt from Glenmorangie, finished in Marsala wine casks from Sicily.
It began when the distillery's director of whisky creation was snowed in at home and set out to capture the feeling of sitting by a fire while snow falls outside.
The palate opens with fruit and honey, then moves to cocoa dust, red pepper and brazil nut toffee. The finish is long, with cinnamon, ginger and clove.
