Glenmorangie Astar is a Highland single malt bottled at 57.1%. Glenmorangie works with very tall stills, which give a soft spirit with a floral, vanilla character.
Astar grew out of the distillery's search for the best possible cask for its whisky. It is matured in casks made specially from white oak, Quercus alba, a slow-growing wood described as rich in flavour from its earliest years. The result is a deep, rich whisky at 57.1%.
