Glenmorangie – Barrel Select Palo Cortado 12 Years Old (75cl)

Glenmorangie Barrel Select Palo Cortado is a 12 year old Highland single malt, released in small batches in a 750ml bottle. It is the first Glenmorangie to be finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks, which the distillery had never used before. The whisky spent its first eight years in American white oak bourbon casks. Its soft, smooth character then prompted a select batch to be moved into the Palo Cortado casks to finish. It is described as deeply sweet and nutty, with an added elegance in the distillery's delicate style.
