Glenmorangie Barrel Select Release Cognac Cask Finish is a 13 year old Highland single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 46% abv. It is a small-batch release.
It comes from one of Dr. Bill's experiments with Cognac casks. He had long imagined finishing Glenmorangie in Cognac, and his early attempts were unsuccessful before this bottling came together.
It is oaky and fruity, with notes of spice and leather winding through Glenmorangie's fruit flavours.
