This is a 13 year old Glenmorangie Highland single malt, a small-batch release finished in Cognac casks, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It comes from Dr Bill's experiments with Cognac casks. He had long imagined finishing Glenmorangie this way, and after early attempts that did not succeed, this bottling brought the idea to life.
It is described as oaky and fruity, with notes of spice and leather winding through the distillery's fruit flavours.
