Glenmorangie Claret Wood Finish is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the distillery's experimental era in the 1990s and was distilled between 1976 and 1979.
The whisky first matured in American white oak, then spent a second period in casks that had held First Growth claret from Pauillac. The claret casks add rich berry notes, subtle tannins and a velvety texture.
